unna coffee blends
Coffee is not just Coffee. For some it’s a delightful pick-me up, for others a stolen moment to sit back and relax. Either way, it’s not to be squandered on bad coffee. Smooth and rich, Unna coffee is not only good for your senses, but good for the planet and its people. Sustainably sourced from family-owned coffee farms around the world, where fair labour practises are inherent and the environment protected, Unna is creating prosperity for growers and your palate.
Avid coffee drinker and renowned chef, Jamie Watt, has spent decades in the restaurant industry where sourcing and serving top quality coffee has been a mainstay. But frequent inconsistencies in flavour profiles despite buying top quality led him to find a coffee supplier that could not only better control the quality, but speak to fair trade principles.
Smaller, family owned farms where the coffee was grown, roasted and supplied to the market was the answer. This offers greater control over the beans, ensuring a satisfying drinking experience again and again.
Our coffee consists of 100% Arabica beans sourced from Brazil, Tanzania & Guatamala. Arabica offers softer tannins and a lower caffeine content, resulting in a smoother coffee
